Nikon has launched the Z5IIC full-frame mirrorless camera in India, bringing a more beginner-friendly shooting experience to its Z-mount lineup. The camera combines a full-frame sensor with automatic scene modes, AI-powered autofocus and creator-focused video features. It will be available across India from mid-October 2026 at an MRP of Rs. 1,39,995 for the body only.
The Nikon Z5IIC is the company’s first full-frame mirrorless camera with scene modes built directly into the mode dial. It offers 15 scene modes covering situations such as portraits, pets, food, night landscapes and twilight. These modes automatically adjust imaging settings based on the selected scene, making it easier for users to capture photos without manually changing multiple settings.
Nikon Z5IIC Features
The camera uses a 24.5-megapixel full-frame backside-illuminated CMOS sensor paired with Nikon’s EXPEED 7 image-processing engine. Its AI-powered autofocus system can detect 10 subject types and focus in conditions as dark as -10 EV. The five-axis in-body Vibration Reduction system provides up to 7.5 stops of compensation for handheld shooting.
For continuous shooting, the Z5IIC can capture images at approximately 14fps, while High-Speed Frame Capture+ supports up to 30fps. Pre-Release Capture can also record up to one second before the shutter is fully released.
4K Video and Creator Features
For video creators, the Nikon Z5IIC supports 4K UHD recording at up to 60fps and Full HD video at up to 120fps. It supports 10-bit H.265 recording, N-Log and N-RAW, while a dedicated REC lamp and red frame indicator make it easier to confirm when recording is active.
The 3.2-inch vari-angle touchscreen, Product Review Mode and USB webcam support also make the camera suitable for vlogging, product demonstrations and livestreaming.
The Nikon Z5IIC will be offered in Black and Silver and sold through Nikon outlets across India.
