OPPO has officially expanded its F-series lineup in India with the launch of the OPPO F35 5G and OPPO F35 Pro 5G. The new smartphones arrive with a major focus on battery life and selfie photography, with both models featuring a massive 8,000mAh battery and a 50MP ultra-wide front camera.
The F35 Pro takes things a step further with a larger 144Hz AMOLED display, a more capable MediaTek processor, faster storage, optical image stabilization and an additional ultra-wide rear camera.
The new F35 series also marks an important milestone for OPPO in India as the company’s F-series celebrates its 10th anniversary in the country. Both smartphones are now available for pre-order, while open sales are scheduled to begin on October 11.

OPPO F35 Series Price in India
The standard OPPO F35 5G starts at ₹38,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The 8GB + 128GB version costs ₹42,999.
The more premium OPPO F35 Pro 5G starts at ₹45,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹49,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB version costs ₹54,999.
Both smartphones will be sold through OPPO’s online store, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail outlets in India. Sales officially begin on October 11.
OPPO F35 Pro 5G Gets a 144Hz AMOLED Display
The OPPO F35 Pro is the more feature-packed smartphone of the two.
It comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K-class resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel supports 10-bit colors and full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, making it suitable for users who spend a lot of time watching videos, browsing social media or playing games.
The display can reach up to 1,800 nits in high-brightness mode and uses AGC DT-Star D+ glass for protection. A fingerprint scanner is integrated underneath the display.
The standard F35, meanwhile, has a smaller 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 2,372-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 10-bit colors and reaches up to 1,400 nits in high-brightness mode.
Both Phones Have an 8,000mAh Battery
Battery life is arguably the biggest upgrade in the new F35 generation.
Both the OPPO F35 and F35 Pro pack an 8,000mAh battery, giving the phones considerably more capacity than their predecessors. OPPO has paired the large battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, allowing users to recharge the devices quickly despite their high-capacity batteries.
The Pro model also supports 55W USB PPS and 44W UFCS charging standards. OPPO’s official specifications list the F35 Pro’s battery at 8,000mAh typical capacity, while the rated capacity is 7,780mAh.
The standard F35 similarly supports 80W SUPERVOOC and USB PPS, with OPPO listing an 8,000mAh typical battery capacity.
For users who frequently travel, stream content or spend long hours away from a charger, the larger battery could be one of the most attractive reasons to consider the new F35 series.
50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera Is the Highlight
OPPO is putting a major emphasis on group selfies with the F35 lineup.
Both smartphones feature a 50MP front-facing camera with a 100-degree field of view and autofocus. The wide perspective is designed to make it easier to fit multiple people into a single frame without having to stretch your arm or move too far away from the group.
The F35 Pro uses a 50MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, while the standard F35 gets a slightly slower f/2.1 lens. Both cameras support autofocus.
The Pro model takes selfie video capabilities further, supporting 4K video recording at 30fps from its front camera. The rear camera can also record 4K at 30fps.
The standard F35 supports up to 1080p recording initially, with 2.5K video support available through a software update.
OPPO F35 Pro Camera Setup

The F35 Pro gets a more advanced rear camera system than the standard model.
It features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The ultra-wide sensor has a 116-degree field of view, giving users more flexibility when photographing landscapes, buildings or larger groups.
The 50MP primary camera uses an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. OIS should also help reduce camera shake when taking photographs in low-light conditions or recording handheld video.
The standard F35 uses a simpler setup comprising a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. The main camera has an f/1.9 aperture and autofocus but does not include OIS.
Different Processors Separate the Two Models
The performance gap between the F35 and F35 Pro is largely down to their chipsets.
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX, an octa-core 4nm processor paired with a Mali-G615 GPU. Buyers can choose between 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, while storage options include 128GB and 256GB using faster UFS 3.1 storage.
The standard OPPO F35 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX. It comes with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

This means the Pro model should have an advantage not only in raw processing performance but also in memory and storage speeds.
IP69 Protection Adds Extra Durability
Durability is another area where OPPO is giving the F35 series an advantage.
Both models offer strong resistance against dust and water, including protection against high-pressure and high-temperature water exposure. This should provide additional peace of mind for users who regularly use their smartphones outdoors or in challenging environments.
OPPO is also positioning the phones as long-term daily-use devices, combining the durable construction with a large battery and its software experience.
OPPO F35 and F35 Pro Colours
The two smartphones are available in different color options.
The OPPO F35 5G comes in:
- Wave Blue
- Mist Pink
- Titanium Grey
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is offered in:
- Sunrise Orange
- Wave Blue
- Twilight Brown
The color choices give the standard and Pro models slightly different identities, with the Pro focusing on more premium-looking finishes.
OPPO F35 vs F35 Pro: What’s the Difference?
The two phones share several important features, including the 8,000mAh battery, 80W charging and 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. However, the Pro model brings several upgrades.
The F35 Pro has a larger 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7360 MAX processor, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera.
The standard F35 uses a 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage and a simpler 50MP + 2MP rear camera arrangement.
For buyers who want the better display, camera hardware and overall performance, the F35 Pro is clearly the more capable option. The standard F35, however, retains the headline battery and selfie features while coming in at a lower price.
Final Verdict
The OPPO F35 and F35 Pro 5G bring a straightforward upgrade strategy to OPPO’s F-series lineup. Instead of focusing on just one specification, the company has combined a huge 8,000mAh battery, fast 80W charging and a high-resolution 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera.
The F35 Pro stands out with its 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7360 MAX processor, faster storage, OIS-equipped main camera and 8MP ultra-wide rear camera. Meanwhile, the standard F35 offers many of the series’ key features at a more accessible starting price of ₹38,999.
With sales beginning in India on October 11, the F35 series could be an interesting choice for buyers who prioritize battery endurance and selfie photography without wanting to move into the premium flagship segment.
